My entry into the the field of dentistry began in 1998. I am grateful and appreciative for what I've learned and continue to learn. To me, it's more than just dentistry. It's getting the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and hopefully be a part of making their dental experience positive and uplifting. I am thankful to be part of Dr. Bickers dental team because he encourages me to grow and flourish by providing a wonderful work environment with state of the art equipment and training.All this adds to a life that is abundantly filled with family, friends, gardening and most things outdoors!

I have been in the dental field for over 25 years. My experiences in this field have just brightened my life. Working in this absolutely amazing place with Dr. Bickers and our amazing team adds so much. The patients that I get to interact with are incredible and bring so much joy.

When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and my daughter, reading and traveling to warm sandy beaches and turquoise waters!

I was fortunate enough to begin my journey into the dental field four years ago after working in the medical field for many years. My focus has always been providing the absolute best customer service I possibly can. I love being part of this fantastic office where, as a team, we work together to provide the best care for our wonderful patients!

When I am not in the office, my husband and best friend of 26 years, Brandon, and I enjoy life on our farm in Southern Albemarle County. I am also blessed to be mom to two beautiful children, Joshua and Victoria.

I have been in the Dental field for over 32 years, 10 of which I have been part of Dr. Bickers Dental Hygiene Team.

With my husband Mark by my side, I enjoy my personal time with my 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Some of my other interests include but not limited to, my Dachshund Breeding program, many crafts and always a quick trip to Vancouver when time permits.

My dental journey started about a decade ago and I've loved every minute of it! I have a passion for teeth and educating my patients on the importance of excellent home care and the impacts it has not only in the mouth but for the body as a whole!

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children Emily and Oliver as well as our chocolate labs! We love to spend our time outside in all the seasons and also love to continue exploring all Charlottesville has to offer.

I am the most recent addition to Dr. Bickers' dental hygiene team! I graduated from VCU Dental Hygiene program in 2012. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and tailoring to their specific needs.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family and horses; Albert, Buddy, and Divie.

My Journey started as a nursing student, Nursing did not work out for me. I knew though I still wanted to care for people. In September 2021 I applied for Dental Assistant classes at CATEC, Finished the class in November of 2021. Started applying for jobs and I landed here at DJ Bickers Dental Office. This job is my second Home. I love my work family and working here. I would not change it for the world!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and Doggie Gizmo. Sometimes I even like adventuring out to breweries , wineries and even exploring new restaurants.

My dental journey started in 2018 when I went to CATEC and received my radiology and dental certification. I always knew that helping people is something I really wanted to do, and with my job that is exactly what I get to do. I am so lucky to be able to work with this amazing team.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son Hayden who loves to be outside playing, also spending time with family and friends.

Dental Assistant

Being a spouse of an Air Force serviceman, I was lucky to have the chance to attend the Red Cross Dental Assisting Program. They partnership with the military and I was able to build my career as a dental assistant. I received my RDA in 2020 and have worked with both military and civilian dental clinics.

I met my husband in Korea and we moved to the United States in 2017. We lived in Texas, then recently moved to Charlottesville. My husband and I enjoy living here and exploring everything the area has to offer. I am an adventurer who loves traveling, trying new food and working out.

Sterilization Technician

I have been the sterilization tech at Dr. Bickers since June 2021. It has been interesting to learn what dentistry is all about.

In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and camp fires, going to the gym, cooking, and playing the guitar. I also enjoy activities at my church.
